Ce mémorial a été déplacé de l'endroit où avaient eu lieu ces assassinats, pour laisser la place à une route nationale.
Lorsque Paul Simon m'a appris à jouer sa chanson "On a side of a hill", j'ai pensé à cet événement qui avait eu lieu à 500 m de là où nous habitions avec mes parents.
Les êtres humains dont les noms figurent là avaient été pris au hasard dans le village.
